Batesville (4-3, 3-1) gained 42 first-quarter yards.

"I can't say enough about our defense," Hill said. "They did a great job against a very explosive offense, so it was a good night for Wynne football and a good week this week."

Pounds' punt return with 11:00 to play in the first half made it 35-0 Wynne, and that was followed by Chapman's 59-yard pass to Chris Miller on Wynne's next possession and it was 41-0.
