Things are about to get pretty spooky at the Little Rock Zoo. Boo at the Zoo kicks off its 25th year with Adult Night, 6-9 p.m. Friday. Admission is $25 in advance, $30 at the gate. After that, all ages can enjoy the Haunted Train, bounce houses, rides, games and trick-or-treating, 6-9 p.m. Saturday-Oct. 31. Admission is $15 in advance, $20 at the gate. 2 RACE

A flood of pink will fill downtown Little Rock during the Race for the Cure on Saturday. The 5K Competitive Run starts at 7:30 a.m., then at 8 by the 5K Run/Walk and at 8:20 by the Family 2K Fun Walk/Fun Run. Registration is $37 for the competitive run, $27 for other events. 3 RIDES

The Arkansas State Fair continues through Sunday at the fairgrounds, 2600 Howard St., Little Rock, with rides, fried food and livestock competitions. This weekend's musical headliners include Clint Black today, Kenny Wayne Shepherd on Friday, Collin Raye on Saturday, and After 7 on Sunday. Tickets are $10, $5 for children and senior citizens. Ride bands are $28 and parking is $10, free with shuttle service at the state Capitol. Concert seating is $15 for premium, $25 for VIP. 4 ROLLICK

Plan to walk, not drive, through Little Rock's Hillcrest neighborhood during the annual HarvestFest on Saturday. Some activities start at 7 a.m. but most of the events, including bounce houses, crafts, vendors and music, start at 11 a.m. and Kavanaugh Boulevard between Walnut and Monroe streets will be closed to traffic. • Music, barbecue and games highlight Hog on the Hill, 4-7 p.m. Sunday at Asbury United Methodist Church, 1700 Napa Valley Drive, Little Rock. The fall festival has music by Canvas, inflatables, children's games, a pumpkin patch and a barbecue cook-off, with all proceeds supporting church ministries with The Call, Philander Smith College, Camp Aldersgate and other local organizations. Bulgarian-born guest conductor and composer Martin Panteleev will be on the podium for the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra's second pair of Masterworks concerts, 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at the Maumelle Performing Arts Center, Maumelle High School, 100 Victory Lane, Maumelle.
