9:54 a.m. UPDATE

Power has been restored to the more than 4,200 people in part of Little Rock who experienced an Entergy outage that started shortly after 8:30 a.m. Friday, a spokesman for the utility said.

An issue with a transmission line that lasted for approximately one minute caused the initial outage, spokesman Sally Graham said. Then, when that issue was resolved, an automated device on the distribution side was not working properly, so a serviceman was sent out to manually reset it, Graham said. No repair work was performed.

Various factors may have caused the problem with the transmission line and Entergy is investigating it, Graham added.
