Bella Vista Church of the Nazarene, 760 W. Lancashire Blvd., sponsors its annual Fall Festival from 4 to 7 p.m. today. The event includes games, face painting, Trunk or Treat, train rides, hay rides, as well as chili and soup. Costumes are welcome.

Bella Vista Assembly of God, 1771 Forest Hills Blvd., sponsors its annual chili and potato soup dinner Friday. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Cost is $7.50 for adults and $3 for children ages 5-12. Tickets are available from the church office, any bank at the corner of Arkansas 279 and Arkansas 340 or at the door. Proceeds support mission programs throughout the year.

New Life Christian Church in Bella Vista, 103 Riordan Road, sponsors the Men’s Ministry as it hosts the Gathering on Tuesday at Dink’s World Famous Pit BBQ in Bentonville. The Side by Side senior single ladies will travel to Eureka Springs to see fall foliage, carpooling from the church at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The church plans a Halloween party for teens in grades 7 to 12 at 7 p.m. Friday. Trunk or Treat runs from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31 in the church parking lot.

The United Lutheran Church of Bella Vista, 100 Cooper Road, hosts the Church Women United for the “World Community Day” celebration beginning at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 4. The Rev. Dawn Donato, pastor of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Bella Vista, will talk about Canopy, an organization working to place refugees in Northwest Arkansas. A variety of table settings, music and Scripture will address the theme, “Sharing the Gifts of the Table.” A silent auction is planned, with proceeds going to local charities.

Unitarian Universalists of Benton County, 1110 S.E. Evergreen St., meets at 11 a.m. Sunday on the east side of Bella Vista Lake Park for cleanup of the trail. Volunteers should bring bag lunches.

The UUBC Ladies Night book club meets at 5 p.m. today.

Unity Church of the Ozarks, 902 SW. Second St., Suite E, presents the Rev. Elise Cowan in a workshop, “Jesus: Separating History From Myth,” from 1 to 3 p.m. today. Cowan speaks at 10:30 a.m. Sunday on “There’s a Mouse in the House.”

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Rogers, 2305 S. Dixieland Road, plans a Reformation Day celebration, beginning at 5 p.m. Oct. 29. The celebration includes a campfire, hay ride, meal, devotions and hymns.

Highland Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Bella Vista, 1500 Forest Hills Blvd., sponsors the Sunflower Club in a meeting at 11 a.m. Monday. Christian Singles meet for dinner and fellowship at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Bella Vista Lutheran Church, 1990 Forest Hills Blvd., sponsors Trunk or Treat from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 31.

The Shepherd’s Food Pantry serves from 10 a.m.to 1 p.m. each Friday. Donations are requested for Thanksgiving baskets, with monetary donations to help pay for turkeys and roasting chickens.

The church plans just one service for Oct. 30. The special Reformation service begins at 9 a.m.

First Presbyterian Church in Rogers, 1901 S. 26th St., hosts the Leslie Shupe Art School each Saturday, through Nov. 5. Classes for adults and children age 7 and older, include acrylics, taught by Joe Lay; watercolor, taught by Anita Carroll; oil by Debi Ortega; and drawing and pastels by Cindy Shepherd. Cost is $20, plus supplies.

New Wine Ministries, 2262 Forest Hills Blvd. Bella Vista, celebrates the Feast of the Tabernacles through Monday. Mario Murillo and Jason Fowler lead the worship Sunday and Monday at the Word of Life Church, 808 SW. 14th St. in Bentonville. Murillo has traveled the world offering his ministry, and Fowler leads an end-time ministry.

Regular services resume at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 29 and 2 p.m. Oct. 30. A round-table discussion and teaching on deliverance begins at 7 p.m. Thursday.

The book club meets at 10 a.m. Thursday in the church parlor. The ladies Birthday Lunch group meets at 11:30 a.m. Friday to celebrate those having birthdays this month.

The church collects sweaters and light-weight jackets for the Salvation Arm to give to needy recipients at Christmas.
