The bride is the daughter of Cheryl and Dr. John Giblin of Little Rock. Her grandparents are Bernice Giblin-Carroll and the late Thomas Giblin, both of Morehead City, N.C., and the late Betty and Frank O'Brien of New Bern, N.C.

Parents of the bridegroom are Patrice and James Robert Barber Jr. of Fort Smith. He is the grandson of Joann and the late James Robert Barber of Kearney, Mo., and the late Lucille and Otto Verbanic of Kansas City, Kan.

The altar held an all-white urn arrangement of gladiolas, lilies, hydrangeas and roses. Music was by organist Lynn Bauman and cantor Hope Sharp.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an ivory lace gown with cap sleeves and scalloped beading at the neckline. The skirt had a crystal and rhinestone belt at the waist and extended to a cathedral-length train. She carried a bouquet of white garden roses, stock, hydrangeas and seeded eucalyptus.

The bride's honor attendants were Dr. Dawn Hughes of Little Rock and Holly Giblin of Fort Smith, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Amanda Barber of Fayetteville, sister of the bridegroom; Lauren Ballard of New Orleans; and Sunni Dunn and Keona Goodwin, both also of Little Rock. They wore plum-colored chiffon gowns and carried bouquets of white hydrangeas and stock with plum-colored dahlias.

Flower girl and ring bearer were Charlotte Hogate of Little Rock and Dodds Hymel of Covington, La.

Dr. Patrick Lang of Cincinnati was best man. Groomsmen were Ryan Barber of Fayetteville and Dr. Kevin Barber of Little Rock, brothers of the bridegroom; Scott Giblin, brother of the bride, and Dr. Bradley Hogate, both also of Little Rock; and Jonny Galvez of Tulsa.

Guests were seated by Dr. Justin Phillips and Jason Chacko, both of Little Rock.

A reception at Chenal Country Club followed the ceremony. The dance floor was framed with pedestal urns filled with gladiolas, palm fronds, lilies, stock and roses. Tables were decorated with tall arrangements of wedding flowers and vases of various sizes filled with water and floating candles.

The bride attended Baylor University and graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse at Arkansas Children's Hospital.

The bridegroom graduated from the University of Tulsa with a bachelor's degree in biochemistry and has a medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he also completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology. He is an OB/GYN at North Little Rock Women's Clinic.

The couple will make their home in Little Rock.
