Nuptial vows were exchanged by Sarah Anne Yates and William Russell Yates at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, in First Baptist Church. The Rev. Jonathan Curtis officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Lesa Beck of Longview, Texas, and Beth and James Kuhnert of Little Rock. Her grandparents are Tommie and the late Robert Beck of Magnolia, Miss., and the late Bernice and Gustav Kuhnert of Vicksburg, Miss.

Parents of the bridegroom are Laura Elliott and Gail and Bill Yates, all of Jonesboro. His grandparents are Bobbie and Jim Belue of Osceola.

Vows were exchanged under a hand-made trellis with candles on each side. Music was by vocalists Tracey Hirschey and Jerry Wilson, and pianist Veda Smith.

The bride was escorted by Jonathan Thomas Yates, the couple's son. She wore a Vera Wang gown of oyster taffeta with an ivory tulle overlay and a chapel-length train. She carried a bouquet of pink and purple roses, blush anemones and olive leaves.

The bride's honor attendants were Ellianna Temple of Little Rock and Heather Moseley of North Little Rock. Bridesmaids were Julie Stephens of Jacksonville and Natalie Myer of Kansas City, Mo. They wore navy sequined dresses and carried silver lanterns.

Groomsmen were Jeremy Scott McKee of Little Rock, John Perrigen of Conway, Bradford Stephens of Jacksonville and Spencer Hawks of Conway. Guests were seated by Kevin Braden of Sycamore, Ill., and Nathan Kuhnert of Little Rock, brother of the bride.

A reception at the Clinton Presidential Center was held after the ceremony. Guest tables covered in eggplant-colored tablecloths with navy sequin table runners were decorated with votive candles and cylinder vases holding floating candles. Music during dinner was by pianist Bob Boyd.

The bride has associate degrees in mathematics, physics and business from Pulaski Technical College and a bachelor's degree in information systems from Chadron State College. She is a financial analyst at Windstream Communication and is pursuing a master's degree in business administration from the college.

The bridegroom received an associate degree in computer science from Kaplan University and is a computer programmer at Northrop Grumman.

After a Caribbean cruise the couple will live in Little Rock.
