Lilburn Burns McCrea, 58, was found to have had contact with the child -- a neighbor's grandson -- in violation of an order that he have no contact with minors under 18 after a 2008 conviction for failing to register as a sex offender.

McCrea was convicted of raping an 11-year-old girl in 1992, according to federal court records. In 1994, McCrea was convicted of lewd molestation in Cimarron County, Okla., for fondling and threatening a 5-year-old boy.

In 2007, a federal grand jury indicted McCrea for failing to register as a sex offender after relocating from Oklahoma to Fouke. In September 2008, McCrea was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison, followed by a lifetime of supervised release.

"The defendant has reported that in the past he had a sexual interest in males age 5 and under, as well as a sexual attraction to females of all ages, including those 5 and under," according to court records.

McCrea appeared with Texarkana lawyer John Pickett before U.S. District Judge Susan Hickey on a petition to revoke his supervised release.

He admitted having contact with the neighbor's grandson, and Hickey sentenced him to serve 10 months in federal prison with credit for time served.

Upon his release, McCrea will be supervised by federal authorities for life.
