TROLLER — Named one of the “10 New Artists You Need to Know” by Rolling Stone in June, Austin experimental group Troller will perform at Backspace in Fayetteville today at 9 p.m. The group’s sound has been described as dark, electronic ambient pop with hints of doom metal and shoegaze. Joining the group is Samantha Glass, fellow ambient Austin musician Curved Light and local artist Austin Cash. TRENT HARMON — Mississippi native Trent Harmon is the winner of the 15th and final season of “American Idol.” Harmon won the competition on April 7, and his coronation song “Falling” landed him on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart less than a week later. Harmon will stop at Foghorn’s Baum Stadium location in Fayetteville today at 7 p.m. to perform on the patio. Between touring, the 25-year-old has already started work on his self-described “country-soul” album, with the debut single “There’s A Girl.” trentharmon.com.
