Little Rock police have named the boyfriend and business partner of a Little Rock woman who was shot to death Monday outside her home as the suspect in her killing.

Little Rock Police Department Lt. Steve McClanahan said 32-year-old Curtis Dorsey is wanted on a warrant in the killing of 35-year-old Sharniece Hughes on Monday afternoon outside her home at 6520 Mabelvale Pike.

Police responded shortly before 2 p.m. and found Hughes on the ground in the yard suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was taken to UAMS Medical Center, where she died.

People at the scene told investigators that they heard Hughes and Dorsey arguing before they heard gunshots, the report said. The document listed Dorsey as Hughes' "boyfriend and business partner." It did not include additional details about their business.

Police said in a statement they believe Dorsey is driving a dark-colored 2014 Toyota Tundra with dark-tinted windows and a fictitious Arkansas license plate with number 498 RMJ.

"Mr. Dorsey should be considered armed and dangerous as he may be in possession of a firearm," the statement added.
