JONESBORO — Arkansas State University officials are reporting a record enrollment at the system's flagship campus in Jonesboro.
ASU said Wednesday that 14,074 students are enrolled for the fall semester.
The number is a 5 percent increase over the fall 2015 enrollment and breaks the record of 13,900 set in 2011.
The university also announced a record enrollment of 4,274 graduate students as ASU restructures its graduate programs by returning the administration of the individual disciplines back to their respective academic colleges.
Also, the number of traditional first-time, first-year students was up 4.6 percent to 1,649.
