Get chalky and creative at the annual Thea Paves the Way event, 8 a.m.-noon Saturday on the Clinton Presidential Center's front lawn, 1200 President Clinton Ave., Little Rock. School, church, family and community groups are welcome to decorate the sidewalks with chalk art while also enjoying entertainment and refreshments. Elaborate structures made of food have popped up in the Statehouse Convention Center for Canstruction, a fundraiser for Arkansas Foodbank. Amasa Hines, the Sad Daddys and the Uh Huhs top the 15-band-plus musical lineup for the fourth annual Legends of Arkansas Music and Craft Festival, with more than a dozen food trucks, representatives and beer from 10 area breweries, art and craft vendors, beard and pinup-girl competitions and circus, aerial and fire performances, noon-10 p.m. Saturday in and around Argenta Plaza -- main entrance at 520 Main St., North Little Rock. The Little Rock Paper Airplane Championship, 10 a.m. Saturday at Sturgis Hall, Clinton School of Public Service, 1200 President Clinton Ave., Little Rock, will pit paper aviators in various age categories in distance and airtime events. "Arkansas Women to Watch: Organic Matters," a biennial statewide touring exhibition featuring works by four female artists -- mixed-media drawings, photography and watercolors by Dawn Holder (Clarksville), Sandra Luckett (Conway), Katherine Rutter (formerly of Little Rock) and Melissa Wilkinson (Bono) -- opens today in the Maners/Pappas Gallery and Gallery III in the Fine Arts Building, University of Arkansas at Little Rock, 2801 S.
