2 from Beedeville die in SUV crash

Two Beedeville residents died after they were thrown from a vehicle during a crash Wednesday afternoon, according to a report released Thursday from the Arkansas State Police.

Danny McKinnon, 67, was driving south on Arkansas 37 at 5:07 p.m. when he left the road and overcorrected, losing control of a 2003 GMC Yukon, police said.

The vehicle crossed both lanes and overturned, ejecting McKinnon and his passenger, Kathleen Kellum, 65, from the vehicle, according to the report.

The crash killed both McKinnon and Kellum, according to the report.

State police also reported Thursday that a crash last month in Benton County killed a 57-year-old woman, according to a police report.

Judy Kay Clark of Lowell died after driving her vehicle off Luper Road at 7:58 p.m. on Aug. 19, police said. During the crash, her car hit a pole and went airborne over a driveway before overturning, according to the report.

Clark was ejected from the vehicle, police said.
