ARKADELPHIA -- Cannon Turner and Logan Lucas each passed for two touchdowns to lead Class 4A Arkadelphia (2-0) over Class 6A Sheridan (1-1).

Lucas' second touchdown pass of 29 yards to Shemar Dickens -- Dickens' third touchdown reception -- with 9:11 remaining provided the final margin. Carson Smith's 20-yard field goal with 4:18 left in the third quarter had given the Badgers a 31-28 lead.
Sheridan had tied the game 28-28 with 8:01 left in the third quarter on a 25-yard touchdown pass from Justin Pruitt to Michael Burnett and McKinley Williams' two-point conversion pass to Jackson Coleman.
Turner also had a 61-yard touchdown run for the game's first score. His touchdown passes went for 45 yards to Dickens and 81 yards to Lucas. Dickens also caught a 31-yard pass from Lucas for a second-period touchdown.
Arkadelphia's other score came on a blocked punt that R.J. Stieve recovered for a touchdown. Nathan Warner kicked all five extra points for Arkadelphia.
Turner completed 7 of 13 pass attempts for 148 yards and rushed 21 times for 129 yards.
Sheridan's Williams scored a pair of touchdowns on runs of 80 and 84 yards. The 80-yard run came on Sheridan's first offensive play that followed Arkadelphia's first score. Williams finished with 189 yards on 11 carries. Pruitt rushed 14 times for 99 yards.
