The suspect being sought was identified by Hot Springs police as Stephon Harris, 20, who was described as a black male, 6-foot-1 and 180 pounds. Arrest warrants for five counts of first-degree battery have been issued for Harris, police said in a news release.

Anthony James Camden, 23, of Hot Springs was arrested at 9:30 p.m. Thursday and charged with five counts of first-degree battery, each punishable by up to 20 years in prison. He remained in custody Friday in lieu of $250,000 bond and is scheduled to appear Sept. 20 in Garland County District Court.

According to the affidavit for Camden's arrest, a resident at 311 Lacey St. said Camden, Harris and a third person, Tyler Donaldson, 23, arrived at her residence Thursday looking for a boy.

The resident said the boy had gotten into an argument over the phone with Camden regarding the boy's younger brother owing Camden money. Camden arrived at the residence wanting to fight the boy, the affidavit said, and stood in the driveway with a silver handgun, yelling.

At one point, Donaldson started to fight the boy and Camden, the affidavit said. Camden raised his handgun and attempted fire, but the gun allegedly jammed, according to the report. As he tried to fix the malfunction, Harris pulled out a handgun and started shooting, the affidavit said.

Camden was found shortly after the incident and arrested. He admitted to being in possession of a handgun during the incident at 311 Lacey St., police said.

Hot Springs police officers responded at about 6:50 p.m. in reference to a shooting. After police cleared the scene, medical personnel began treating the victims. When Hot Springs police detectives arrived, three of the victims were outside the residence and two other victims were inside the residence.

A neighbor said she was inside her house next door when she heard what sounded like five gunshots and ran outside to check on her children, who were playing basketball. The shootings occurred in the gravel driveway between her home and 311 Lacey St., the woman said.

The news release said Cameron Guyton, 20, George Watson, 53, Skie Guyton, 19, and a 17-year-old male who was not identified were transported to CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs for gunshot wounds.

Donaldson was transported by ambulance to Hot Springs Memorial Field, where he was then airlifted to UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock.
