A group of people beat and robbed a man Tuesday night in Little Rock, police reported.
Officers went about 9:25 p.m. to Jones Street and West Daisy L. Gatson Bates Drive. They saw about six people walking away from a bloodied Jonas Brewster, who was sitting on a curb with "substantial injuries to his face," according to a police report. Brewster, 34, told police that people had beaten him, "stomped" his head until he was unconscious and taken his money.
Brewster was taken to UAMS Medical Center for treatment.
Police said Brewster knew his attackers but was not able to provide a description of them after the robbery.
