Man's body found in Fourche Creek

Deputies found a dead man in Fourche Creek after an employee from a passing Union Pacific train saw what looked like a body near the railroad tracks, according to a report from the Pulaski County sheriff's office.

Deputies were dispatched at 3:02 p.m. Tuesday and arrived at Frazier Pike near an Interstate 440 overpass, according to the report. The body was found about 6 feet from the bank of the creek, authorities said.

The identity of the man was not released Wednesday night.

Authorities sent the body to the state Crime Laboratory to determine the cause of death.
