Peter Cetera, first voice of Chicago, performs at Oaklawn

Pop singer Peter Cetera will perform at 7 p.m. today in the Finish Line Theater at Oaklawn in Hot Springs. Admission is $65 or $55.

Cetera's fame began as the first lead singer of Chicago Transit Authority, later known as merely Chicago. Between 1968 and 1986 he sang his hometown group's hits "If You Leave Me Now," "Hard to Say I'm Sorry," "Baby What a Big Surprise," "You're the Inspiration" and "Feeling Stronger Every Day."

Opting to pursue a solo career in 1986, he recorded the hit songs "The Glory of Love" (from the movie The Karate Kid II,) "The Next Time I Fall" (with Amy Grant), "Feels Like Heaven" (with Chaka Kahn), "After All" (with Cher, from the movie, Chances Are) and "No Explanation" (from the film Pretty Woman).

Formerly known as Jetpack, The Nobility launched a Kickstarter campaign in October 2014 that raised more than $10,000. The four-man group was then able to record the CD Ashford Castle, with production by Nathan Sabatino (Dr. Dog, Flaming Lips) and harmony help on one song by The Secret Sisters.

The 17th annual Depot Days will be held on Front Street in downtown Newport on Friday and Saturday. Admission is free.

The festival will also feature a new display at the Rock 'n' Roll Highway 67 Museum, 201 Hazel St., of a piano from the legendary Porky's Club in Newport, that was used by all the touring musicians who performed there in the 1950s, '60s and '70s. Admission to the museum is free and it will be open from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Performers Friday are the Delta Tones at 7 p.m. and the Memphis All Stars at 8 p.m.

Saturday performers are the Jimmy Dunham Family at 1 p.m., the Zyndall Raney Band at 2 p.m. J.R. The 11th annual Possum Parade and Picnic weekend will feature The Salty Dogs at 6 p.m. Saturday on the Front Porch Stage on the lawn of the Montgomery County courthouse in Mount Ida. Admission is free.

Little Rock rockers The Salty Dogs were also featured in 2015.
