Pediatrics Plus of Conway is building a 24,000-square-foot clinic in Sherwood.
Stuart Gavin McGilvray sold 4 acres at 192,000 square feet of commercial space on Wildwood Avenue to Pediatrics Plus, which specializes in education and care for special-needs children. Pediatrics Plus will build a new clinic at the location.
Approximately 400 employees work for Pediatrics Plus, which opened in 2002 in Conway and has expanded with locations in Conway, Little Rock and Russellville.
Services offered by Pediatrics Plus include physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech language therapy, plus a developmental preschool and specialized care for children with autism.
Todd Denton, who owns Pediatrics with two business partners and his wife, Amy, is also part of a group that is building a Dairy Queen franchise in Sherwood. The Dairy Queen is scheduled to open in December, and the new Pediatrics Plus location is planning a July 2017 opening.
