Carrie Katherine Carr became the bride of Justin Michael Hill at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at the home of Jan and John Turbeville of Heber Springs.

The bride is the daughter of Valerie and Richard P. Carr Jr. of Little Rock. Her grandparents are the late Helen and Richard P. Carr of San Antonio and the late Barbara and Dales Knapp of McAllen, Texas.

The bridegroom is the son of the late Terri Hill and the grandson of Mary Sackett and the late Ron Sackett, all of New Mexico.

The altar held an arrangement of white roses, tulips and ranunculus, eucalyptus, cotton and curly willow. Music was by the Little Rock String Quartet.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless white raw-silk gown with an overlay of heavily beaded white silk organza with a chapel train. She carried a white bouquet of garden roses, tulips and ranunculus.

Kristin Carr Squyres of Little Rock served as her sister's matron of honor. Bridesmaid was Kelli Carr Murphy, also of Little Rock and sister of the bride. They wore sleeveless Empire tea-length dresses of midnight blue satin and carried bouquets of deep-red roses.

Flower girl and ring bearer were Kennedy Squyres, niece of the bride, and Liam Murphy, nephew of the bride, both of Little Rock.

Best man was Gary Smith of Little Rock.

A tented reception, also at the home, followed the ceremony. The buffet table held candelabra centered with arrangements of white roses, tulips and ranunculus. Guest tables covered with white linens alternated centerpieces of square vases with white floating candles and vases each holding a single white spider chrysanthemum.

The bride graduated cum laude from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with bachelor's and master's degrees in English literature. She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and is employed as an investment adviser with Concert Wealth Management.

The bridegroom has bachelor's degrees in psychology and kinesiology from Baylor University. He is owner of Justin Hill Golf Academy, director of instruction at Greystone Country Club and a PGA Tour instructor.

After a wedding trip to Santa Fe, N.M., the couple will reside in Little Rock.
