Police said a 20-year-old man resisted arrest Saturday during a traffic stop, leaving a Little Rock officer with elbow and knee injuries, according to a report.

Adrian Witt of Little Rock faces five felony charges along with a misdemeanor count after being arrested at 9617 Wilderness Road on Saturday afternoon, according to the report.

Witt was pulled over and police smelled marijuana inside the vehicle, according to the report.

Officers searched the vehicle and reported finding about 117 grams of a "green leafy substance," about 2.1 grams of a "white powdery substance" and about 1.6 grams of a clear crystalline substance, police said. Police also found a digital scale in the vehicle.

When officers tried to take Witt into custody, police said he resisted and grabbed an officer by his collar and applied pressure.

According to the report, the officer received abrasions on his left knee and his left elbow in the scuffle.

Witt was charged with second-degree battery, possession of marijuana with purpose, possession of cocaine with purpose, possession of methamphetamine with purpose, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest, according to the report.

He was listed on Pulaski County jail's inmate roster Saturday night. His bail was set at $56,000.
