Richard Dreyfuss in news, but don't look in obituaries

Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ Best Actress acceptance speech caused an unintentional fuss for another actor at the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards.

Spin Cycle presents another installment of "All the News That's Fit to Razz" ...

• Actor Richard Dreyfuss is alive and well. But some people prematurely mourned his loss after actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus, during her last week's Emmy acceptance speech, dedicated her Best Actress in a comedy award to her late father, William Louis-Dreyfus. Richard Dreyfuss tweeted, "I'm actually not Julia Louis-Dreyfus' father. But I really appreciate all the concerned tweets."

Tweeted Alfred Dreyfus, the French artillery officer whose 1894 treason conviction evolved into the political scandal known as the Dreyfus affair: "I'm actually not Julia Louis-Dreyfus' father either. And I've been dead since 1935."

• Rapper Kanye West said he recently got rid of his cellphone (of course he posted that news just days before he created an Instagram account, most likely using a phone). He tweeted (although how he did that without a phone, we don't know): "I got rid of my phone so I can have air to create."

And because no one wants to talk to him.

• Actor Corey Feldman, who fashions himself a musician, recently broke the internet -- and not in a good way -- after delivering a dark, bizarre performance of his new song "Go 4 It" on the Today show with his "Corey's Angels." He hit back at critics in a now-deleted teary Facebook Live video: "It was a song, OK? It wasn't that weird. I'm sorry if it's not good enough for you, but you don't have to beat us up. I just want to say that, like, why is it OK to, like, publicly shame us?"

For once Corey Feldman wishes he'd be confused for that other Corey. (Rest in love, Mr. Haim.)

Lady Gaga will perform the Super Bowl half-time show in February, UsWeekly.com recently reported. Not so fast, countered NFL representative Natalie Ravitz, who tweeted in response, "@usweekly ignored my on record response: we've had conversations [with] several fantastic artists about SB Halftime Show but no final decision." So don't get your meat jersey and meat helmet ready just yet, Lady G. It's possible a decision will be made by publication time, but in the meantime, what's the beef?

• In the span of a week, singer Taylor Swift donated $50,000 to the Louisiana public schools affected by historic flooding in Baton Rouge. She also sent flowers to Grace VanderWaal, the 12-year-old singer who won America's Got Talent.

After falling-outs with peers, including singer Katy Perry and all those various ex-boyfriends, Taylor apparently needs some younger friends.

Coolio recently was arrested after a loaded gun was discovered in the rapper's carry-on bag during a security screening at the Los Angeles International Airport. According to TMZ, Coolio was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon. After being released, Coolio, via Twitter video, dismissed the event as a "little misunderstanding."

No, Coolio, a "little misunderstanding" is what we have with your old song lyrics. (It's 16 years later, and we're still wondering what does "I really hate to trip, but I gotta loc" mean, anyway?)

It'd be Coolio if you'd email:
