— Everything of note from Bret Bielema, Dan Enos and Robb Smith's press conferences.

Bret Bielema

— Put together 12 plays to show the team last night that showed that good things happened when the team followed the game plan and bad things happened when they didn't.

— Alcorn State is a successful team at the FCS level the last two years. Notes that Hogs will have a chance to play well in Little Rock, which they haven't lately.

— Injury wise, Keon Hatcher (hamstring) may rest early in the week but will be back later. Austin Allen was sore yesterday, but still bouncing around. No significant injuries heading into Alcorn State.

— Game plan worked well in the first half, but Arkansas being forced to pass later in the game played into A&M's hands. Didn't give up a sack until the fourth quarter. Noted Hogs needed to do a better job adjusting to the delayed blitzes from 7. Austin Allen being so tough was admirable.

— Brian Wallace said A&M's defensive ends came over after the game and told him how well he played.

— Jake Raulerson at guard and Frank Ragnow at center is the best look moving forward.

— Need to have a better push with the offensive line, but don't have it right now. Have to continue to work on it.

— Liked that Dan Enos went back to the same play with Rawleigh Williams after the fumble, resulting in a touchdown.

— Nobody's been more hospitable or gracious than Les Miles, especially given Hogs have won the last two years. Reminds him of Mark Richt getting fired at Georgia with a great winning percentage. "LSU's got to do what LSU's got to do. I've got to play them every year."

— On his name being mentioned by USA Today as an LSU candidate: That's what happens when you have success. Doesn't want to coach anywhere but Arkansas.

— Wasn't happy with Dominique Reed's preparation leading up to the game. Ball's in his court.

— Austin Allen was very animated about what he thought he did on the non-touchdown sneak on third down. Bielema didn't send the play in to the SEC, because it was too difficult to tell from the camera angle. They went with the end around because they didn't want to leave a sneak up to a judgement call.

— Last play he showed Saturday was Santos Ramirez tracking down Trevor Knight on the 62-yard run. Notes a lot of players may not have done that. Demeanor issues in the fourth quarter weren't as widespread as he initially thought after going back and watching film.

— Two things on the QB runs. They checked to a QB draw on a certain alignment that has since been addressed. Knight also made some nice cuts on plays Arkansas has defended well in past instances. Thought some of defensive issues late stemmed after the goal-line stop/92-yard touchdown, with some players pressing to make plays in the fourth quarter.

— First play of the game was included on the clip of 12 plays Bielema cut up. Drew Morgan didn't get a good enough chip on the play. He'll be hard on players that can handle it. Also showed the punt play when Santos Ramirez stripped Christian Kirk. Play No. 3 was Skipper drawing the 5-yard penalty to set up the Cole Hedlund field goal. No. 4 was Williams' fumble. Williams' touchdown run was on there, as was Knight's touchdown late in the half.

— Was going to try to run T.J. Hammonds in the Wildcat. Want to try to get him more involved going forward.

— De'Andre Coley's hit and ejection was also included in the 12-play clip. Huge teaching moment. Included a lot of clips Thursday of footballs being dropped before the goal line and almost included a targeting clip, but decided not to.

— Jared Cornelius' back isn't an issue.

— Used to 11 a.m. kickoffs after being at Wisconsin.

— He and Jen Bielema walked in to the airport at 3:30 a.m. Sunday, players at 4. Didn't have the players show up Sunday until around 4 p.m.

— They'll travel by bus Friday, a 3.5 hour drive that's a "bump in the road." Will fly back after.

— Thinks Austin Allen has a quiet, calm confidence with a little fire. Showed emotion on the third-down sneak and let his linemen hear about it after a play where he got hit, which he thinks is good within reason because the QB is standing in there.

— Has snuck in extra reps for twos the last two weeks after practice.

— On question was about accounts being hacked: Patrick Pierson (main football SID) and recruiting staff have access to Bielema's Twitter account.

— Hasn't heard from SEC office yet, but thinks De'Andre Coley should be OK to play next week because the targeting call happened in the first half.

Dan Enos

— Notes Hogs don't have 15 passes to run from the 1-inch line. Both teams are selling out. Gives A&M credit for stopping it.

— Said Austin Allen didn't audible into the QB run late in the game. JC: Didn't comment on the lively discussion that ensued.

— Why Dominique Reed hasn't been a factor is a good question for Dominique.

— Ton of respect for Jared Cornelius. Huge asset to have.

— Football's football. You play QB, you've got to get hit some. Especially with a team that good on the defensive line in the fourth quarter when you become one dimensional and have to throw the ball. Sometimes you have to hang in and make a play, which is a testament to his courage. Didn't peek at rush.

— Will stick with same line moving forward. Hopes Brian Wallace continues to develop into the answer at right tackle.

— Felt good about the line overall, but the offense fell short in goal-line situations and with turnovers.

— No one has given up on Reed and he has time to turn it around, but the players who are making plays will play.

— Thought backs missed a few cuts on the goal line. It was a little bit of everyone down there.

Robb Smith

— Thinks Arkansas has a good defense that had a bad night. Players came in ready to learn from their mistakes and move forward. Had a great Sunday.

— A&M's run game did a great job. Collectively, Arkansas players made some mistakes and pressed at times.

— Defense needed to be put in a better position to defend Knight's run game. Hogs need to execute better, too.

— Will approach Alcorn State like any other week. Focus is "100 percent on us."

— De'Andre Coley's hit was used as a teaching moment. Defense has to play a little smarter.

— Guys played well in spurts, but everyone had letdowns, including himself. Proud with preparation, but not happy with the result.

— On Knight's long run before the half, defense needs to be put in a better position to make a play. "We'll make sure that never happens again." Collective letdown by the defense.

— Players didn't shy away from film Sunday.

— Excited to go down to Little Rock and show improvement.
