Arkansas man wins lottery game's top prize of $100,000

A Russellville man won $100,000 Friday — the first $5 Diamond Doubler top prize from the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery.

In a news release, the lottery said Steven Moore plans to buy a house with his winnings. The ticket was sold at Tobacco Road at 200 E. 4th St. in Russellville.

The store gets a 1 percent commission, or $1,000, for selling the winning ticket.

The $5 Diamond Doubler debuted Aug. 30, and the odds of winning are 1 in 3.67, the release said. Three more top prizes have yet to be claimed.
