SPRINGDALE -- Community members can meet and get to know those who serve and protect them while enjoying a cup of coffee.
Springdale police are inviting residents to have coffee with them at McDonald's Restaurant, 4600 W. Sunset Ave., from 7:30-9 a.m. Thursday, said Lt. Derek Wright of the Police Department.
"Coffee with a Cop brings police officers and the community members they serve together -- over coffee -- to discuss issues and learn more about each other," Wright stated in a news release.
