A 26-year-old man accused of selling drugs out of his car was arrested Wednesday near a Little Rock high school, a police report said.

Police responded to Southwick Drive Wednesday near McClellan High School, where they found Monte Gilbert of Little Rock standing outside a white car with both the trunk and hood popped open, police said.

Officers saw a box of sandwich bags and what they believed to be marijuana on the floorboard of the car, according to the report.

Police searched the vehicle and found a digital scale and more "vegetable matter," according to the report.

Gilbert was charged with possession of marijuana with purpose and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the report.

He was not listed on Pulaski County jail's inmate roster Wednesday night.
