Cash gone, Little Rock robbers flee with two brews

Two robbers left a Little Rock convenience store with two cans of beer Tuesday night after finding out all the money had already been removed from the cash register, a police report said.

Police were called to a robbery Tuesday night at 8:37 p.m. at the gas station at 4511 W. 12th St., where store employees told police two men came into the store. One of the men pointed a black handgun at an employee and demanded money from the cash register, the employees told police.

The employee told the gunman that the money had already been removed from the cash register before the duo entered the store, according to the report. The unarmed robber grabbed two 40-ounce cans of beer and the robbers fled on foot, according to the report.

Both men were described as black and 18 to 20 years old, according to the report.
