Replacement of a railroad pass on MacArthur Drive in North Little Rock will require a traffic shift today and a road closure for several weeks beginning Monday, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.
Traffic will be moved today onto the newly constructed overpass on MacArthur, also called Arkansas 365. Motorists might experience delays as work continues during the traffic shift, the department said.
Beginning Monday, Parkway Drive will be closed underneath the overpass from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, weather permitting, to allow contractors to remove the old overpass. Traffic will be detoured around the closure via MacArthur, the department said.
