A Malvern man is accused of fatally shooting a man after a fight.
Jesse Quincey Collins, 36, faces a first-degree murder charge in the Sunday night shooting that killed 21-year-old Bobby Andrew Moore.
Malvern Police Department Chief Donnie Taber said the shooting happened about 10:45 p.m. near the 800 block of East Sullenberger Street.
"Witnesses stated that two men were fighting outside in a yard and one of them went inside a residence and came out with a gun and started shooting," Taber said in an email, noting the victim, Moore, died a short time later at a local hospital.
Authorities later forced entry into a nearby house and arrested Collins, Taber wrote.
Collins' bail was set at $250,000, the Hot Spring County sheriff’s office said. He also faces a charge of possession of firearms by certain persons.
