The shooting occurred hours after another shooting late Thursday in Little Rock.

The Friday shooting happened about 5 a.m. on Old Forge Court, according to a police report, a residential street off Old Forge Drive, which runs west off Reservoir Road.

The victim, whom police found at the Wendy's restaurant at 11319 N. Rodney Parham Road, initially told investigators that he was shot at an apartment complex, but he later gave authorities an address on Old Forge Court, according to a Little Rock Police Department report.

The victim said he was with a woman there when a man he believed to be her boyfriend showed up with a gun and confronted him, the report said. The gunman started to push the woman and the victim "began to drive away," at which point shots were fired, according to the report.

The teen was hit in the back of the head and the upper back. He was taken to Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock, where emergency room officials told investigators his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

No suspect was named in the report, and no arrest was listed. The gunman was said to be a black man who stood about 5-foot-9, weighed 180 pounds and was wearing a white shirt.

The shooting occurred hours after another man was shot elsewhere in Little Rock and days after four people were wounded in three separate shootings last weekend. As of Monday, the number of people hurt by gunfire in the state's capital city was up more than 90 percent in 2017 compared with last year, according to Police Department data.

In Thursday's shooting, a Little Rock man was found lying on a curb after he was wounded in the thigh, police said.

Shortly before midnight, officers found Robert Flenory, 35, of Little Rock with a gunshot wound in his "right lower quadricep," according to a Little Rock Police Department report. He was near the intersection of West 14th and Washington streets.

Flenory told police he and his girlfriend's brother were in an argument "about Flenory supposedly hitting" his girlfriend, the report said.

The argument happened near West 32nd and South Harrison streets, Flenory said. Flenory told police he went to his girlfriend's residence and was shot by her brother, according to the report.

Flenory said the shooter then drove away in a green Cadillac. He told police his girlfriend saw the shooting but left in a white Pontiac Grand Am before police arrived.

Flenory was taken to UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock, the report said.

Police were unable to locate a crime scene, according to the report.

No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
