Where I live: Gulley Park area of Fayetteville

Occupation: freelance marketer, brand strategist, writer and editor at TheWindowShopper.com

My favorite space is: my gallery wall.

Why? I am a bit of a collector (or hoarder). I have a very eclectic style (read: lots of amazing hand-me-downs and thrift store finds). The reason I love my gallery wall starts at the vaulted ceiling and goes all the way to the floor. It is covered with precious photographic possessions: our wedding invitation and photos with my husband; several lithographs by my late cousin, a curator in Philadelphia; a photo of my grandparents and of my family's store in downtown Lake Village at the turn of the [20th] century. The print of the 1862 bombardment of island No. 10 on the Mississippi River was a gift I gave my husband, who grew up in the Mississippi Delta.

With the photos are a few pieces from an artist I found on Etsy, Vivienne Strauss. I'm obsessed with the chorus girls in her "buffalo gals" print. There's also a map of Arkansas, a Degas print and a photo by Mallory Berry from a fashion shoot I styled. Every time I look at this wall, I feel happy and grateful.

If I could make one change to improve this space, I would: Honestly, I would knock the wall down! It would open the living room/dining room/kitchen but would require a complete overhaul. Realistically, more art and fresh paint.
