In case you missed it ...

Anybody in this state who follows the Diamond Hogs knows the name Andrew Benintendi. His name was mentioned on the radio pert near every baseball broadcast the last few years. A little ol' professional baseball team located somewhere back East--in Boston--drafted him in the first round in 2015.

Over the weekend, Sunday specifically, the new outfielder for the Red Sox went 5-for-5 at the plate. Andrew Benintendi became the youngest person to do it, at 22 years old.

Who was the previous "youngest person" to every go 5-for-5 for Boston?

A 23-year-old Babe Ruth. In 1918.

Here's to our favorite Red Sox outfielder, and we hope he breaks even more records.

But, gentlemen, please don't trade him to the Yankees.
