Rogers Heritage 13, Fayetteville 1

The Lady War Eagles scored seven runs in the bottom of the first inning and never looked back in the 7A-West Conference run-rule win at Veterans Park.

Five different Heritage players contributed two hits each. Lauren James drove in five runs, while Mika Polumbo drove in three for the Lady War Eagles. Polumbo and Kelsey Hamlin each hit home runs. Freshman Kayla Paulo picked up the win the circle, allowing a run on four hits over five innings. She struck out two and did not walk a batter.

Bentonville High 15, Springdale High 0

Maddy Prough pitched a perfect game through three innings, and Haley Cornell hit her 10th home run of the year as Bentonville defeated Springdale in 7A-West Conference action at the Tiger Athletic Complex.

Prough (16-1) needed just 28 pitches to retire all nine batters she faced, and struck out six of them. Cornell, who finished 3-for-3 with five RBIs, belted her home run to cap a six-run second inning and give the Lady Tigers (23-1, 10-1) an 8-0 cushion.

Bentonville then added seven more in the third to end the game, with Cailey Cochran's two-run double capping the outburst.

Bentonville West 2, Springdale Har-Ber 0

Jazmine Dodd's seventh-inning double broke a scoreless tie as West went on to defeat Har-Ber during Tuesday's action at J.B. Hunt Park.

Dodd's double drove in Alyssa Cordell, who started the inning with a walk and moved to second on Steele Donahoe's sacrifice bunt. Brittany Crowson later added a ground out to drive in Dodd and give the Lady Wolverines (19-9, 7-3) an insurance run.

Emma Wood then retired Har-Ber in order in the seventh to complete a three-hit shutout. The freshman struck out five and walked only one in a 92-pitch outing.

Farmington 5, Russellville 0

Paige Devecsery pitched a two-hit shutout to lead the Lady Cardinals to a 5A/6A District 1 home win.

Devecsery (14-2) struck out nine and did not walk a batter in an 83-pitch masterpiece for Farmington (20-7, 11-0).
