Bible Reading Ministry International will be hosting the Boone County Bible Reading Marathon beginning at 8 a.m. today through Thursday at Minnie Harris Park on South Walnut Street, Harrison. Sign up a group for a block of time or individual 15-minute time slots for the event to read the entire Bible. Bible readings will be from 1-8 p.m. Sunday; from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday; and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday. The Carroll County Bible Reading Marathon will take place at Church in the Grove next to the Berlin Wall on the grounds of the Great Passion Play, Eureka Springs, beginning with a picnic at noon on Thursday and Bible reading until 8 p.m. The marathon will resume at 8 a.m. Friday and will take place from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day until May 10. On May 11, the Bible reading will be from 8 a.m.to 5 p.m., after which a closing ceremony will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. (870) 350-0865.
