Chorus

The Bella Vista Men's Chorus, with the Bella Vista Women's Chorus as guest performers, will perform the concert "Spirituals: A Musical Legacy" at 3 p.m. today at the Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd.

The Kingsdale Squares will dance at 7 p.m. Monday at Riordan Hall in Bella Vista with Bob Loyd calling. There will be a mainstream workshop at 6:30 p.m.

Pieces 'N Patches

Pieces 'N Patches quilt group will meet at 12:30 p.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church, 1901 S. 26th St. in Rogers.

Jan Williams will present her trunk show on "Scattered to the Four Winds to Bless Others."

The group meets at 12:30 p.m. on the first Monday of each month for programs and at 10 a.m. on the third Monday for workshops. Snacks will be served on program days, and participants should bring lunch on workshop days. Beverages will be provided, and visitors are welcome.

PFLAG

Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays of Northwest Arkansas will meet from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Springdale. Board member Carol Ward will facilitate discussion on ways that the LGBTQ community and allies might "slice and dice" themselves into subgroups, how much this occurs and how it supports or interferes with efforts to move equality forward. There will be an open support group discussion after the program.

Garden Club

The Garden Club of Rogers will hold their monthly meeting at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church, 26th Street and New Hope Road in Rogers. There will be a program on invasive plants, a horticulture report with give-away plants and pass-along plants and magazines.

Hill 'N Dale

The Hill 'N Dale Hiking Club of Bella Vista will hike half of the Redding Loop on the Ozarks Highlands Trail on Thursday. This will be four miles of easy to moderate hiking, mostly downhill. Depart at 8 a.m. from the upper level parking area of Harps in Bella Vista, carpooling to Redding Campground on AR 215.

Auto Club

The Foothills of the Ozarks Antique Auto Club will hold its monthly meeting beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday at the city park in Farmington. There will be a potluck meal beginning at 6 p.m. The club will provide the meat, and everyone else is asked to bring a covered dish or two to share. Bring own table service, drinks and chairs.

The Ark-Oma Square Dance Club will dance at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Springdale Senior Center, 203 Park St. in Springdale. Bob Loyd will be calling. There will be mainstream and plus level dancing, and banners will be given to visiting clubs. Everyone is welcome.

The Little Switzerland Amateur Repeater Club will be giving technician classes Saturday and May 13 at First Christian Church, 736 Passion Play Road in Eureka Springs. There will be a $15 test fee for all license levels, but the classes are free. A bag lunch will be provided.

The eighth annual Altrusa Fashion Show and Tea will be from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Elks Lodge at 4444 N. Crossover Road in Fayetteville. Tickets are $25, and proceeds benefit the Compassion House for teenage mothers. Local ladies will model from the Rogers Chico's and the Fayetteville Dillard's stores. Tea sandwiches and petit fours will be served, door prizes will be awarded, and live flowers will be sold. The Elks Club is assisting.

Christian Women

The Bella Vista Christian Women's Club will hold a brunch meeting at 9 a.m. May 9 at the Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd. The feature and speakers for the brunch will be "Miracle Moments of Mothering" by Dorea Potter and Caroline Casselberry.

An all-American breakfast buffet is served from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at a cost of $10. The brunch is held every second Tuesday. The organization is nondenominational, and the public is invited. The program is presented by Stonecroft Ministries.
