Family: Millennial women not doing as well as women before them

A new report says that many millennial women’s careers are stalled.

Unlike generations before them, millennial women are not experiencing an improvement in well-being, according to “Progress in U.S. Women’s Well-Being Stalled in Recent Generations” from the Population Reference Bureau, a private, nonprofit organization that specializes in statistics necessary for research and academic purposes.

There’s increased poverty, more student debt and lower-paying jobs to be found for millennial women.

Discover some of the reasons behind this career stall in Wednesday’s Family section.
