President Donald Trump refused to back down Thursday from his threat to rain "fire and fury" on North Korea if that nation endangers the United States, and in the face of bipartisan criticism, said that perhaps he was not harsh enough.

Cooler heads in the region (South Korea, Japan, and China) are watching this unfold much differently. They understand how to deal with this and avoid escalation. Trump just wants to exercise his ego at the risk of conflict. It's the typical bully syndrome. Let's hope the generals keep this under control.

This president is insane. Those who watched MSNBC last night heard some good news. Former Republican Senator Gordon Humphrey of New Hampshire has written a letter to the Senate Majority Leader asking him to form a committee as authorized by Section 4 of the 25th Amendment to declare that Insane Trump be declared unfit to carry out the duties of President due to his mental instability. We who agree should follow up with emails to our Senators asking them to support Mr. Humphrey's request asap.

Well if Clinton or Oblama had done anything more than welfare or "strategic patients" (ignore), then perhaps this would have escalated. History matters!

KC, you seem to have all the answers. I noticed you left out a Bush. As always blame is all people like you are capable of, yet nothing to back up your words.

Bush at least tried (somewhat feeble though) NK was included in the axis of evil and subsequent actions. Definitely don't have all the answers, but we know what hasn't worked. Waiting for the bright flash followed by the extreme super-heat, over-pressure, and alpha particle fallout is not the answer. History matters.

K SAP , YOU FORGOT THE GLORIOUS "W", AS TIMBER POINTED OUT, [ Actually he didn't forget, as he knew this fact, but being from the right, they like to play hide the ball]
BUT TIMBER IS RIGHT ,THE RIGHT ALWAYS HAS ALL THE ANSWER FROM ON HIGH, BUT LIKE IN MATH, ALL THE CALCULATIONS OF THE SITUATION MATTER NOT JUST THE ONES YOU LIKE.

glh, Do not seek the treasure as was warned in O brother where ART THOU! , Pence the pure blood awaits to bring forth hisTtheocracy reign of ecclesiastical rules and regulations like a North American Iran. Google Pence's rambles and misstatements on the "mere" .."only" theory of Evolution and see insanity double down by a supposedly sane primate.... how is there monkeys when we still have humans?

seems to me that there clinton guy took a deficit and turned into a surplus, oh well, history matters, see the end of he reign of W when jobs just supernaturally disappeared or was it gop policies of dumbness? Now my problems with W does not mean he was worse than Trump, as trump may be climbing Mt Nebo to see the promise land and write his own obituary [ note secret service this is one of those bible like allegories or metaphors or made up stories]

Would you let this POTUS near your daughter or buy a car from him? Think not.

Trump is starting to remind me of Greg Stillson in that movie Dead Zone. When after he pushes the launch button says, "The missiles are flying. Hallelujah, Hallelujah!

The white male voters were the lynch pin of the trump victory; nearly 2/3's [63%] of them voted for trump. Why, is up for debate. Then there were the black voters who did not get out and vote for the party that pandered to them endlessly. In 2012 ninety-two % of the black vote came out for Obama, but in 2016 only 72% showed up to vote for Hillary. Why, is up for debate.
For the destroyers who voted to bomb DC, you are getting what you wanted, but the rest of us have to pay for your reckless disregard for lives that may be about to end. Not over there, those other people , but us.
