And the Governor of Guam said they were grateful for Trump's strong language and stance, he said because of Trump they feel safe. Where is that article Arkansas Democrat? Don't you think since Guam is the threatened target of North Korea their opinion might matter?

libertas2u, that's old news was reported on yesterday or the day before. Xi just needed to tell Trump that the message was from Putin and he was the messenger, and that would have taken care of that situation.

As I've said before, China is in the driver's seat on this one regardless what Trump might say. The more Trump rattles hawkish rhetoric, the more it angers China. They are far more patient with international affairs than Trump and will outlast him on this one. My guess is China is quietly putting NK in check, while they let Trump run his mouth.
...
It's a great move to hold over Trump in the future as he deals with China on both trade and geo-political fronts. China is letting Trump walk into this one and will use it later. All the while, our military is doing nothing more than it has in the past. I even think Trump has no clue what's really going on in the military front other than "prepared" briefings. Say just enough to keep the idiot happy, but do as little as possible to avoid knee-jerking the forces.

Since China has so much leverage and influence with North Korea why don't they also tell the Fat One to tone it down?
