Men's health clinic now open in Rogers

Epoch Health -- a health care clinic focused on men's health, wellness and hormone therapy -- celebrated its grand opening Tuesday. The clinic is in Country Club Plaza at Pauline Whitaker Parkway and South Pinnacle Parkway in Rogers and is open 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays and 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays.

Epoch Health partnered with urologists in 2012 to start its comprehensive men's health care facilities. The company has eight locations in Arkansas, Missouri, Arizona and Alaska. The clinic focuses on preventive care through regular men's health screenings and by educating men and their families about general wellness while matching their symptoms with appropriate medical treatments and lifestyle modifications.

Anthem-Epoch, Inc., parent company of Epoch Health, recently secured $5 million in financing from Kayne NewRoad Ventures Fund II LP, a growth fund co-managed by Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors LP and NewRoad Capital Partners LLC.

Civil engineers add office in Fort Smith

Hawkins-Weir Engineers Inc., a full-service professional civil and environmental engineering consulting firm, opened an office at 403 Garrison Ave. in Fort Smith. The company also has offices in Van Buren, Little Rock and Fayetteville.

Larry Yancey, a principal in the firm, will manage the Fort Smith office and will be joined by staff engineer Chris Morris.

The company was founded in Van Buren in 1980 and provides a range of professional engineering services in water, wastewater, storm water, streets and roadways, land planning and development, structural, surveying, and construction management to municipal, industrial and private clients.

Payroll Co. sets up shop in Bentonville

The Payroll Co. held an open house Thursday for its new location at 820 Tiger Blvd., Suite 2 in Bentonville.

The Payroll Co. has been in Northwest Arkansas for more than 10 years, and the move provides a larger office space for employees and for growth.

The company provides everything involving the management of businesses and employees from payroll to taxes, benefits to time management and human resources.

The company also has offices in Little Rock, Springfield, Mo., and Kansas City, Mo.

Work starts on Rogers pediatrics center

Northwest Arkansas Pediatrics, a Medical Associates of Northwest Arkansas clinic, began construction on a 14,200-square-foot building at 3730 S. Pinnacle Hills Parkway in Rogers. The group will open the full-service pediatric clinic in April and will share the building with the Ear, Nose and Throat Center of the Ozarks.

Northwest Arkansas Pediatrics has 19 board-certified pediatricians who practice in Fayetteville and Lowell. Pediatricians will rotate between the Rogers and Fayetteville clinics.

The Rogers office will feature a pediatric walk-in clinic as well as separate acute-care and wellness clinics. There will be a lab and X-rays on site.

Ear, Nose and Throat Center of the Ozarks is a private medical and surgical practice with four locations across the region.
