LINCOLN -- Police arrested David Hall, 39, of 303 E. Rodgers St. on Tuesday in connection with rape and introduction of a controlled substance into the body of another.

A woman told police Hall pushed a loaded syringe of what she thought was methamphetamine in her vein Sunday and "then pushed himself on her sexually," according to a police preliminary report. She told Hall to stop, according to the report.

Hall denied giving the woman any drugs and said he didn't have sex with her at that time, according to the report.

Hall was being held in the Washington County Detention Center on $15,000 bond Wednesday.
