Local celebrities will duke it out for bragging rights and a WWE Championship belt in a Lip Sync Battle, 7 p.m. Saturday at Robinson Center Performance Hall, West Markham Street and Broadway, Little Rock. This is the third year for the competition, which will feature TV and radio personalities, politicians and others performing elaborate routines. Owners and fans of Volkswagens and other German cars are converging on and convening in Eureka Springs this weekend for three car shows. Two clubs are collaborating, with the Eureka Springs Volkswagen Show, centering on the Inn of the Ozarks Convention Center, 207 W. Van Buren Ave. (U.S. 62 West) and the Foul Air Overflow Club operating at Pine Mountain Village, 2075 E. Van Buren St. (U.S. 62 East). The event will include a swap meet and the 3 p.m. Saturday VW Parade through downtown Eureka Springs. All profits benefit the city's Good Shepherd Animal Shelter. Meanwhile, the Ozark Euro Rally is celebrating all German cars on the grounds of The Great Passion Play, 935 Passion Play Road. Hot rods dominate this weekend at the 42nd annual Queen Wilhelmina Rod Run, Friday-Sunday in downtown Mena and at Queen Wilhelmina State Park, starting with the Show and Shine, 6 p.m. Friday. Another Show and Shine, music, activities and a fish fry are planned during the day Saturday at the park, with a 7 p.m. street dance and concert in downtown Mena and a church service and closing ceremony at 9:30 a.m. Sunday.
