Jeremy Partin

Where I live: I live in the Bunker Hill neighborhood of North Little Rock with my dog, Oscar. The tri-level layout of the house is ideal for me, as I often host out-of-town bands that come through Little Rock to play shows. The downstairs game room and bar area is perfect for those that want to continue the party.

Occupation: By day, I am an actuary at Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield. By night, I play bass in a handful of bands, such as VORE, Mothwind, Crankbait and Ash of Cedars.

My favorite space is: The downstairs bathroom, which is a sort of shrine to the local music scene. It serves as a history book of shows that I have been both a part of or have been a spectator. My prized memorabilia is displayed here, including my autographed vinyl copy of Metallica's And Justice For All, from their 1989 Barton Coliseum appearance, and an autographed Poison record from their appearance at Discount Records in 1987. The piece de resistance, however, is my obsidian black toilet. On nights when the moon is full, it serves as a portal to another dimension.

If I could make one change to improve this space I would: add a spray-cologne machine like you find in truck stops. You know, to add some class.
