Redesigned Visit Rogers website unveiled

ROGERS -- A new website for Visit Rogers offers a virtual tour of the city and the region for those considering a stop in Northwest Arkansas.

After months of research, the redesigned website was unveiled Wednesday. Visit Rogers officials and representatives of Miles Partnerships, who did the design work, gave a preview to the city's Advertising and Promotion Commission earlier in August.

At the preview, the Miles Partnership representatives showed how the new website uses images and content to show the people, places and events making Rogers unique. The website also provides a customized menu, so someone interested in "outdoor adventures" will see content related to that interest while someone interested in local dining will be offered different content.

J.R. Shaw, Visit Rogers executive director, praised the new site in a news release announcing its launch.

"The new VisitRogersArkansas.com encourages visitors to learn more about the unique and authentic experiences Rogers offers," Shaw said. "The web design expertise that Miles brings to the table also provides us the most detailed analytics and insights in the industry that allow us to be better destination marketers."

Randi Rogers, with Miles, said the eight-month project included a photo shoot and a series of interviews with people as part of the content for the site.

"Our main goal was to allow the character of the destination to shine through, while giving tourism businesses enhanced opportunities to have more meaningful content to share with interested visitors," Rogers said.

The website is www.visitrogersarkansas.com.
