Construction on Johnson Avenue in Jonesboro will require lane closings beginning Tuesday and lasting three weeks, the Arkansas Department of Transportation said.
Crews performing milling and asphalt work will alternately close a single lane on Johnson Avenue, also called U.S. 49, between Red Wolf Boulevard and Paragould Drive.
The lane closings will take place 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays, weather permitting, until the project is complete, the department said. Traffic will be controlled by signs, flaggers and traffic cones.
