Style: So bad it’s good?

A big movie week is highlighted by the arrival of The Disaster Artist, James Franco’s loving tribute to the 2003 cult film The Room, an inept, incomprehensible movie by the strange and charismatic Tommy Wiseau (who Franco plays). Our Dan Lybarger reviews the film and interviews Greg Sestero, one of The Room’s stars and the author of the book upon which Franco based his movie.

Two other notable films also show up in Arkansas theaters this week, Richard Linklater’s Last Flag Flying and Sean Baker’s The Florida Project — our Piers Marchant reviews them while Lybarger chats up Linklater. (And Marchant’s talk with Baker will run next week.) This week’s Style section in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette is chock full of movie stuff — make sure you pick it up.
