John Brown University in Siloam Springs, 2000, W. University St., presents its 75th annual candlelight service at 7 p.m. today in the Cathedral of the Ozarks.

Village Bible Church in Bella Vista, 1591 Forest Hills Blvd., presents the Christmas cantata Bethlehem's Child at 6 p.m. Sunday, followed by a pie dessert fellowship.

The church hosts a blood drive for the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday in the Oasis Food Pantry center. The food pantry is open for distribution of food from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday.

First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Rogers, 905 S. 13th St., hosts Breakfast With Santa from 8 a.m. to noon today, benefiting Micah's House of Northwest Arkansas. Tickets for timed seatings are $15, with children age 2 and younger free. Activities include crafts, writing a letter to Santa, family photos and gift bags. Micah's House mentors young men who have aged out of foster care and group homes.

Brightwater Memorial United Methodist Church in Rogers, 14108 E. U.S. 62, and Pea Ridge United Methodist Church, 1205 N. Davis St., present a combined Christmas choral festival at 3 p.m. Sunday at Brightwater. The festival includes a carol sing-along, the telling of the Christmas story and anthems by the choir, chime choir and soloists.

The churches offer candlelight Christmas Eve services at 5 p.m. Dec. 24 at Brightwater and at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 24 at Pea Ridge.

The United Lutheran Church of Bella Vista, 100 Cooper Road, offers Advent supper services at 6 p.m. Wednesday and Dec. 20. Reservations are requested.

The church plans several holiday worship services: "The Longest Night," 6:30 p.m Dec. 21; Christmas Eve, 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Dec. 24; Christmas day, 11 a.m. Dec. 25, followed by the church's annual Christmas dinner. (Reservations are requested.)

Bella Vista Lutheran Church, 1990 Forest Hills Blvd., presents church presents "A Thrill of Hope," a Christmas concert with the Celebration Choir and orchestra, at 4 p.m. Sunday, followed by a reception.

The church offers a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 6 p.m. Dec. 24, and a Christmas Day service at 10 a.m. Dec. 25.

The Shepherd's Food Pantry is open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday and Dec. 22. Pantry volunteers request food donations of holiday food.

Temple Shalom of Northwest Arkansas in Fayetteville, 699 N. Sang Ave., offers its annual Hanukkah store from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday. Hanukkah starts Monday. The store features many items from Israel, scarves, candles, dreidel fidget toys, toys and children's books and more.

The church offers at "Night of Hope and Healing" with worship and communion at 6 p.m. Dec. 17 in Wesley Chapel.

The church plans several Christmas Eve services: classic worship, 10:45 a.m., 3 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Dec. 24 in the sanctuary; contemporary worship services, 9:30 a.m., 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Dec. 24 in the activities center; and Genesis Church worship, 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Dec. 24 at the Genesis campus.

A contemporary worship service will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 31 in the activities center, and a classic worship service begins at 10:45 a.m. Dec. 31 in the sanctuary.
