Dr. Lindsay Ragan Cadorette and Dr. Jason Nicholas Arthur were united in marriage in a beachfront ceremony at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, in Vero Beach, Fla. The Rev. Fred Ball of San Damiano Ecumenical Catholic Church in Little Rock officiated

Phyllis and Richard Cadorette of Chesapeake, Va., are the parents of the bride. Her grandparents are Ruth and the late Clyde Ragans of South Boston, Va., and the late Dorothy and Paul Cadorette of Chesapeake.

The groom is the son of Patsy and Barry Arthur of Little Rock. His grandparents are the late Delma and Audrie Black of Mount Ida and the late Lorine and Norton Arthur of Little Rock and Hot Springs.

An arch of white hydrangeas and cream and blush roses decorated the ceremony site. Music was by the duo Sunset Strings.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a fit-and-flare gown of embroidered lace on tulle with a sweetheart neckline. She carried a bouquet of blush, cream and white roses.

Jessica Sotosky of Syracuse, N.Y., was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Dr. Katie Lee of Califon, N.J., Dr. Maria Moreno of Charleston, S.C., and Jan Lowery of Whispering Pines, N.C. They wore blush-colored gowns and carried rose bouquets similar to the bride's.

Matthew Boyd of Conway was best man. Groomsmen were Dr. Christopher Ellington of Kansas City, Mo.; Dr. Lawson Smith of Little Rock and Dr. Jonathan Sotosky of Syracuse.

After the ceremony, a reception was held at the Kimpton Vero Beach Hotel & Spa in Vero Beach. Guests tables held Pilsner vases filled with hydrangeas and roses and Monet vases with floating candles.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Virginia and a medical degree from St. George's University. She is pediatric chief resident physician at the University of Florida Health Science Center in Jacksonville, Fla., and in July will begin a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Arkansas Children's Hospital.

The groom has a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Central Arkansas. He has a master's degree in public health and a medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He is an emergency medicine resident physician at the University of Florida Health Science Center and in July will begin a fellowship in emergency ultrasound at UAMS.

After a wedding trip to Barcelona, Spain, the couple will live in Jacksonville, Fla., then move to Little Rock in July.
