SPRINGDALE -- Fans who came for a show Tuesday likely didn't see the one they had anticipated.

Little Rock Christian (6-1): Hill 30, Bennett 8, Finley 7, Moore 6, Strickland 5, Hightower 4, Chapple 3.

Springdale Har-Ber (7-3): Perry 26, Garrett 23, Buchanan 11, Ezell 8, Ragsdale 7, Dugger 3, Peck 3.

Perry scored 26 and Garrett 23 for the Wildcats (7-3), who turned the game into a blowout after leading by three points midway through the second quarter.

The combined play of the Har-Ber guards, including sophomore Nick Buchanan with 11, surpassed the performance of Justice Hill, an Arkansas commit who scored 15 of his 30 points in the fourth quarter when the game was out of reach.

"Our guys, when they share the ball like that, we're pretty hard to beat," Har-Ber coach Scott Bowlin said. "Our big guys played really well and (Josh) Ezell had eight blocks, I think. Nick, his shot is starting to go in. He just had to get caught up with the speed of the game."

Kalin Bennett scored eight points for Class 5A Little Rock Christian, which entered the game 6-0. But the Class 7A Wildcats had too much firepower and won the game handily against the Warriors.

Garrett, Perry and Buchanan each made two 3-pointers to help Har-Ber to a 36-25 lead at halftime. The Wildcats continued their hot shooting in the third quarter and stretched their lead to 55-29 after 3-pointers by Buchanan and Perry.

Hill showed flashes, but his play was inconsistent. He was sent to the bench briefly in the first half after a rushed shot that missed. Hill also missed a long 3-pointer at the buzzer to keep the Har-Ber lead at 11 points after two quarters.

"They were undefeated, and they've got a guy (Hill) who is going to be a Razorback," Bowlin said. "He scored 30, but I thought we did a good job on him."

Har-Ber will return home Dec. 21 against Webb City, Mo. The Wildcats open 7A-West Conference play at Rogers High on Jan. 5.
