2 wounded in Little Rock shooting early Monday

Two people suffered injuries not believed to be life-threatening in a shooting early Monday in Little Rock, authorities said.

Shortly before 3 a.m., officers were called to 2011 Vancouver Drive, just west of Boyle Park, to investigate a reported shooting.

One of the home's residents, 22-year-old Calvin Brown, was on the front porch suffering from a gunshot wound to the foot, the report said. A second victim, 23-year-old Tommy Hand of Little Rock, was inside the residence. He had been shot in his buttocks and back, police said.

Both shooting victims were transported to CHI St. Vincent for treatment.

The report didn't detail how police believe the shooting may have occurred. The suspect was listed as "unknown," and police wrote that the investigation is continuing.
