Arkansas crash's 3 victims identified

Police have identified three women involved in a crash Thursday morning in Northwest Arkansas that resulted in the deaths of two of them.

Officers with the Tontitown Police Department were sent about 10:25 a.m. Thursday to an area near Henry de Tonti Boulevard and Old Highway 68 after a two-vehicle crash, Capt. Wes Hart said.

Ofelia Reyes, 52, and Marcelina Cox, 78, who were traveling in a Toyota Rav 4, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Trisha Caudwell, the 28-year-old driver of a Chrysler 500, was injured and taken to Washington Regional Medical Center, Hart said.

Hart said the crash happened in Tontitown as a vehicle traveling west crossed into eastbound traffic on Henry de Tonti Boulevard and struck the oncoming vehicle. It wasn't clear which vehicle was traveling in which direction.

All three were said to be from Siloam Springs.
