ER Toys

HOT SPRINGS — The Hot Springs Women’s Welcome Club will have an ER Toys session from 12:30-2 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 3819 Central Ave. The group will make stuffed toys to donate to the St. Vincent Emergency Room and to other organizations that help children. New Year Exhibit

HOT SPRINGS — The January exhibit at Justus Fine Art Gallery, 827A Central Ave., will celebrate the start of a new year with a selection of work by Jennifer Libby Fay, Robyn Horn, Dolores Justus, Laura Raborn, Jason Sacran, Tony Saladino, Sandra Sell, Gene Sparling and others. The exhibit will open with a reception from 5-9 p.m. Friday in conjunction with the monthly Hot Springs Gallery Walk. The show will be on display through Jan. 31. Donnie Copeland Solo Exhibit

ARKADELPHIA — Donnie Copeland, Ouachita Baptist University associate professor of visual arts and chair of Ouachita’s Adams Department of Visual Arts, is presenting a solo exhibit through Jan. 13 at the Texarkana Regional Arts Center. The works in the exhibit feature striped patterns created from cutting patterns from stacked sheets of paper and adhering them to sheets of paper. The free exhibit is open to the public. Ageless Bikers Club

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — The Ageless Bikers Club has 10 different bike rides that are 16 to 35 miles long. The rides are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays on quiet paved country roads (one ride has up to 3 miles of gravel). No one is left behind, and the group stops often to regroup and socialize. Several rides are “out and back,” so the beginner can turn back for a shorter ride. Merry Mixers Dance Club

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — The Merry Mixers Dance Club meets at 7:30 p.m. the third Saturday of each month in the Coronado Community Center. A dance lesson will be given at 7 p.m. before the dance begins. Free Exercise Classes

ARKADELPHIA — The Central Arkansas Development Council’s Arkadelphia Senior Activity Center invites the public to a free Zumba class at 11 a.m. every Wednesday at the center, 1305 N. 10th St. The class, taught by a local fitness instructor, is geared for seniors ages 60 and older. Hot Springs Women’s Welcome Club Meeting

HOT SPRINGS — The Hot Springs Women’s Welcome Club will meet Jan. 10 at the Hot Springs Country Club. A social hour will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by the luncheon meeting at 11:30 a.m. January’s program will be presented by Dennis Berry, who is with CALL (Children of Arkansas Loved for a Lifetime), a faith-based nonprofit that finds foster and adoptive homes for children in Garland and Hot Spring counties. The cost of the luncheon is $20.
